Join the Your U-turn Youth Action Committee

If you are reading this blog, I will assume you have had a chance to look around the site and check out the Action Projects. If you haven't heard about the Action Projects they are projects ideas and resources to get you started taking action for the environment - and to help you knock off 30 hours of community service. Check them out here.

But, we want to know what you think of these resources and to hear the ideas you have. That is why we have the Your U-turn Youth Action Committee.

Join us once a month starting in March to talk about Your U-turn and what you would like to see it become. What resources can we offer to help you take action at your school? How can we support the work your school or environmental club is already taking?

The committee sits down with a couple of people from Your U-turn, City of Surrey staff, and representatives from across Surrey High Schools to see how we can make this something cool and for you.

If you want to be apart of this, please contact shereseyouruturn.org Please include your name and school - I will then follow-up with an invitation at the beginning of March to participate on the committee. Details will also be posted on the website.
